Teaching in the community
I love teaching all ages - especially clay, comics, and sculpture. Contact me if you're interested in a workshop for your school or gallery. I've taught in-reach, outreach, online, in school groups, ages 3-300.
Currently I'm teaching adult programs at the Shadbolt Arts Centre and kids programs at Arts Umbrella.

One-on-one art lessons
Occasionally I teach private lessons, both in-person at my studio and online over Zoom. Sometimes these have been about specialized ceramic techniques - luster application? Surface decoration masterclass? Do you want a plaster mold made? We can do it together, so then you have your mold and you know how to do it next time. I love these collaborative, customized lessons where I get to know you and your artistic interests and then I can point you to the right techniques and resources. Email me if you're interested and let me know what you're looking for.
A better canon
Are you an art teacher? I was frustrated that a lot of teaching seemed to be based on a really small really white group of artists. So I started this resource for myself - the Better Canon board - collecting amazing artists of colour whose work I love to teach. (If you have any artists to add, send 'em along)
Home guide to clay
I made a guide to different kinds of clay, including clay you can make at home.
This project was commissioned by the Surrey Art Gallery for their Art in Motion series.
Mini Vehicles online workshop
I made a tutorial for building your own tiny kinetic sculptures out of household items. This project was commissioned by the Seymour Art Gallery. You can watch the video here or there are written instructions here.
